why move?

She will be a part of your multiple coaching record posts. Very tiger related.

so will be Fuente, Norvell, Price, and Jones but what they do at their new jobs is no longer Tiger related. What Cal does at UK is not Tiger related.

Vocal, eager to get us moving
I never cared much for her, but hell even Shirley Raines had more personality than Hargrave.
Do something....SAY something man! Show us you want us to move forward, and how we're gonna get there.
SOMETHING.

What exactly did Rudd REALLY do that was so great? I believe Fuente was hired before he got here so he didn’t do anything special with football

But he was the president when Tubby was hired

Did he get us in a P5?

Look I’m no fan of Hargrave but what really is the difference? Because Rudd tweeted more ?

You've made some illogical posts in the past but nothing to match this one.

Pot meet kettle

Once again what all did Rudd do? I’m waiting

Dr Rudd fought back against the NCAA witch-hunt 'investigators'.
Think we'd have gotten our wrists slapped if he hadn't wrote his scathing report of how he felt the investigation had been handled? He chronicled how badly the investigators had acted and proceeded...leading the NCAA to pretty much give up on nailing us to the wall.
If Shirley had still been here...the University would have been bending over ready to accept its punishments without so much as a lubejob first.

During his tenure, Memphis gained R1 status.
R1 universities are at the top of research and innovation, and they receive federal/private funding specifically for their academic research. R1 institutions are recognized as the best research universities in the country...and Memphis is now classified as one of those universities.
According to The Carnegie Foundation for the Advancement of Higher Education, it has classified approximately 146 U.S. institutions as having R1 status.
Before Rudd...Memphis was academic punchline nationally. A joke.
While we're still not at the top of the list academically...we're in a much better position to be invited to a conference who places importance on academics than before Rudd became president.

When he took over...we had a $20 million budget gap. He paid it off without increasing tuition dramatically. And he did it in 18 months.

He increased enrollment. In 2015, Memphis had 2052 freshmen. In his 2nd year 2672.
In 2011, the University had a 41% graduation rate.
Today, that number is 54.4%, the goal is still 65%.

They've raised a bunch of money for projects...someone more knowledgeable than I can fill you in on that.

That’s great he did some things academically that’s his job. Shirley Raines did a lot of the ground work on that. As for going to bat for us, I think any president would do the same. But none of that is my point. My point is there’s really nothing a president can do imo for athletics except get out of the way. I know I’m in the minority on this but we didn’t get to final fours because of Billy M Jones, Thomas Carpenter or Shirley Raines. It was because of Gene Bartow, Dana Kirk and John Calipari. And we got to a cotton bowl because of Mike Norvell not David Rudd

If we are going to do that then anything involving the lady Tiger player punching the girl should also be Ntr since she’s used up her eligibility

You are so wrong with that statement.
Dr. Rudd and Dr. Hardgrave have lobbied Nashville multiple times. I think we're beginning to see the payoff.
$50M dedicated to keeping us in R1 status
$350M for LB reno and the Governor saying it is to help Memphis get to power conference level.
$40M for new stem building

Looks like I’m not wrong if Hardgrave has lobbied Nashville. You’ve missed my whole point. And I’m not the one on here whining about our administration
