Don't quite get your point?

Christians pushing Christianity veiled in legislation typically tend to forget that the laws they pass also apply to them too. Take the book bans, for example. If your goal was to "protect children of a certain age from pornographic or sexual material" that's a pretty easy problem to solve, that could be done any number of ways, but the way the Republicans have chosen is "ban anything that I (the republican citizen) assume to be pornographic and sexual in content" not realizing that this definition that they've put down would also impact them negatively, i.e. content in the Bible. I can speculate many reasons why this is, but at the end of the day, this complete lack of rational response from these religiously motivated political groups, who very typically put solution over practice, always have this very same tell. I mentioned previously that the Satanic Temple as a legal organization has utilized this to great success in ensuring the separation of church and state at the regional and national level.

All that hatred you have for God, the Bible and Christians only ends one way for you.

Being cast into the Lake of fire for all eternity on judgment day.

You're on a one way road and that's where it ends. No matter how much you hate me or people like me, I don't wish that ending on you or anyone.

I pray with all my heart you repent and come to faith in Christ before you cross over into eternity.

Unfortunately, sometimes Eric you just have to dust off your shoes and move on.

Just remember if we died with him then we live with him. If we endure this life in him then we will reign with him. But, if we disown him he will surely disown us. We can be faithless but he will remain faithful for he cannot disown himself.

I understand your sentiment but disagree with applying that verse in this particular context. I was not debating him, I was telling him I love him regardless of what he says and that I will always pray for his salvation.

I'll never dust my feet off from praying for lost people and telling them I love them.

I'll dust them off from debating them, but I'll never dust off from praying for them and telling them I love them.

That's what I thought you might have meant.

Interesting that the left banned the Bible from schools and now is upset about other people trying to "ban books".

As far as current "book banning", do you really think it's OK for public tax dollars to be used to purchase pornographic material?

I think you're forgetting that it's the radical left who has pushed their ideology into schools and has fought to remove opposition ideology.

Additionally, I think you'll find SEVERAL threads in this forum started by a liberal attempting to show that conservatives &/or Christians commit crimes and despicable acts. And you'll always see the conservatives replying that they should be punished to the fullest extent of the law. Don't believe me? Use the search feature and show me I'm wrong.

Your claims fall short.

In a liberal's mind, they can do no wrong.
