Interesting read

No one put a gun to their heads forced them to attend an Ivy league school. This is wrong in so many ways. These radical leftist are going to completely destroy college sports. If they win this one then Ivy league schools would be forced to drop sports. NCAA Div 3 and NAIA sports will cease to exist.

why is that?
Do you realize how expensive it is to attend Harvard? Around $416,000 for 4 years of schooling. Med school is similar...$428,000 for 4 years.
They had a little more than 31,000 students in the 2021-22 year...with lots of degrees offered...do the math.
Harvard has a $53 billion dollar endowment as of 2022.
They wouldn't be hurting to give schollies or partial schollies for sports.

They don’t offer merit scholarships either. Isn’t most of the cost already covered through their generous financial aid packages?

Most Top Schools DO NOT offer academic scholarships anymore, but ,What they do offer is a sliding scale financial aide package..

If your family makes under a certain amount you're probably going for free or $3,500 and it is covered by your work-study program .

you can play with this:
