Hey Guys !

Breeze Air out of Huntsville has a direct flight to Las Vegas on Mondays and Fridays ! I got a ticket leaving next Monday for $417 with a checked bag. 12:30 p.m. flight out gets to Vegas at 2:30, 3:10 return flight gets back to Huntsville at 8:45 p.m. Friday night.

I've got a King Deluxe room at the El Cortez up on Fremont for $350 for the 4 nights, and they have a free airport shuttle.

The ticket I got for the 3 games was $77.

So minus taxis, food, tips & gambling, I'll be in Vegas for the NIT Finals for under $900.

Unfortunately the multi-game tickets sold out.

I’ll be out there with a couple of other Blazer fans. We’re not sure of our plans just yet. This will complete 12,000 miles round trip of travel for me to see our basketball team play this season!

I just picked up a ticket to see Foreigner on the Wednesday night in-between NIT games. They are at the Venetian for a few weeks.

UAB students who made the trip to Vandy were chanting “Vegas Vegas Vegas” at Ingram. He said something to them but I couldn’t hear. Hopefully the athletics dept can make something happen.

Make what happen? No way we're sending students to Vegas on such short notice.

Someone may foot the bill for the students to fly out there

I hope they will do their classwork online while in Vegas

Can’t make it to Vegas, but will be there in spirit.

Hate the games are on Tues/Thurs. I can't take a full week off at work at this time. Would have been great if it was Thurs/Sat or Fri/Sun games but guessing they don't want to compete with the NCAA Games. If we win, maybe I can make the Thursday game and a long weekend in Vegas.

My grandson, USMC in 29 Palms CA, is going over to LV to see the Blazers for the first time in awhile.

..awesome folks are getting to go - I'm a no-go, unfortunately... I do fear that the UVU contingent is gonna run the place over... and their green is just like UNT's shade of green...

Sad my #3 team Oregon didn't make it, else it would be an all-green finale...

Nah, Nike would have outfitted them in some wierd-@$$ colored uniform so that they stand out from the green.

Has anyone heard of any Alumni events, team plans or pep rallies while in Vegas ?
