Well, I was hoping to get Vandy on the schedule in the future, but it doesn't sound like Stackhouse has any interest in doing that.

I suspect that he is not the only one in the $EC that feels that way.

At least 3 of them from this season alone. 03-lmfao

I was gonna make this comment last night, but when you got 3-0 against the SEC it may be hard to find a team willing to play us. I would like a Home and Home with Vandy or another similar SEC team, but I can't see that happening now.
They won't want to risk a mid major loss; however, being in the AAC may change that. Memphis played 4 SEC teams this year. 2 away, 1 home, and 1 neutral.

It was 5 SEC teams for them. Also a B1G and Pac-12

Memphis is an established brand and has always been able to schedule easier than us, but we should not overlook the ESPN factor here. Scheduling is always about leverage, relationships and stakeholders. ESPN is a stakeholder and is paying the AAC a lot more money than any other non-p5 league. They want decent inventory for linear tv in AAC home slots. They had no incentive whatsoever to do that for C-USA, nor did the C-USA brand have any competitive leverage to have ESPN want to do so. ESPN had every incentive to want C-USA nonconference games as road games they stick on SEC Network or ACC network or ESPN+ which means C-USA team on the road if they get the game at all.

Based on the commentators last night, ESPN didn't give a **** about Vanderbilt OR UAB lol. It was atrocious by all accounts.

Stack is an idiot if he thinks that way. Playing the teams he played didn't hurt his resume, losing to them did. Don't lose to southern miss by 28 at home and grambling state at home you idiot. Maybe not losing to those teams at home would help your NET more than playing nothing but cupcakes. Playing VCU and Memphis were great resume games, but AGAIN, they did NOT take care of business. He needs to look at himself in the mirror. His team was not good enough. They should not have even been close to the bubble. The third place CUSA team finished ~15 spots higher in the NET and beat them straight up on their home floor. And it was not a fluke. We LOOKED like the better team, and we took care of business. That was nowhere near our best game and we won by 8. f*** stack

Perry Clark is a good guy but not particularly energetic as an analyst. And he, too, caught the Jamison / Jimmershon bug lol

People are stupid, lazy, and borderline illiterate... You'd think people being paid big bucks by espn would be immune to that, but nope.

How F***** hard is it to look at the name JEMISON, and pronounce it correctly. I can understand making a mistake once, no one is perfect.. but got damn, correct yourself..

On the scale of human names, JEMISON, is definitely on the easier side of the scale in terms of difficulty of pronunciation.

I love how stackhouse is so down and disappointed. box score showed over 10k attendees too.

He just can't believe a lowly Cusa team kicked their butt on national TV.
