...didn't really think I'd be watching that game, yet here I am... UV has a few three point specialists, it appears - we might match up as well with Cincy... honestly, would prefer to play the Bearcats and give them a parting AAC loss...

Both are very good, do not sleep on UVU. They have size and good shooters.

Cincinnati has more athletes.

We can beat either if we do our good thing without the bad things we sometimes do, but both would be tough.

Well wasn't sure what would happen after halftime but said we needed Jelly to start to hit something didn't matter if it was 2's or 3's & a couple of others needed to step up, Jemison & Gaines did. After a jumpy start we settled in & cruised in the 2nd half & didn't go wild for the most part. Looks like it might be a pair of 2's vs a pair of 4's in the finals, hopefully an all CUSA final.

On the road in a difficult place. Held to 13% 3point and 38% overall shooting. Turnovers and rebounding essentially even. Win by 8. That's called gutting one out.

Good game Blazers. Ready for next season football and basketball. Only wish Southern Miss was coming back in the same conference too. A lot of great games. Good luck in the NIT

Utah Valley is looking really good thus far. They are riding emotion somewhat so maybe they cool off but they have looked like the better team in all phases.

We’ve seen much better Cincinnati teams than this one. They are solid but I don’t think they are any better than us, UNT or FAU.

Hell of a 2nd half… outscored them by 11, didn’t miss a free throw in the entire game!! And Jemison, jelly and Gaines played so well in the 2nd. Jemison has improved so much since he first came here.

Utah Valley is frigging good! They have two big guards who are ballers — the kind who have given us fits. They have an incredibly athletic 7-footer who is active and an elite shot blocker. Nice pieces around them.

Cincinnati is more along the lines of the teams we are used to playing. Lots of size and athleticism. They also have big guards who can put it on the floor or shoot from deep. They are known to be a good three point shooting team but took them a long time to heat up.
