But if we’re talking trends, by my count, this year had the highest Bartow average attendance since 2015/16

Yes, it's trending up compared to the Ehsan years which really set us back. It's also a fact, whether we like it or not, that the competition we're playing is a factor. I think we'll see an uptick in attendance in the conference portion of the schedule next year being in the AAC playing better teams and teams people are more familiar with.

Part of it was due to the t-shirt giveaways, but both last season and this season, the UNT was a pretty good turnout. Last season was the battle for the regular season title, and this season was the battle for second place. So agreed, if the top half of AAC are doing well next season, then it should be good turnouts (with addition to giveaways).

Just having Memphis at Bartow Arena for one conference game will likely raise the overall attendance.
