I really dont understand the sophomoric joy in it, but if that is what it takes to get you hard -- hey go for it. I mean, bitching about that the 'man' and 'system' is set about with nothing in mind but to grind *you* down, you have to take comfort where you can find it I guess.

Have fun BD 03-wink

Maybe because all liberals are stupid?

And I tell my liberal friends this all the time, but they still know I love them.
I just don’t want them around if the chit does hit the fan at some point.

I've just gotten tired of Tanq, it reminds me too much of my relationship with my ex. She loved to argue about EVERYTHING and NEVER admitted that she was wrong. He's a little too much like David St. but with a college degree.

Now, watch him respond to this post and he'll prove my point. I sure would love to meet this guy in person but I probably would/could only take a few minutes of his spiel. Life's too short for arguments.

PS. Please don't quote him.

Yep, your initial aside at 4:11 certainly is the first one in the line, and directly on point about my comment. Thank you for recognizing that.

My comment at 4:11 pm. ? Now why would you think that comment was solely directed at you? Not everything around here is about you. 03-lmfao

And my comment to that is just as general, RB. Funny that.

Quite the difference you discern between 'some' in one post and that same word 'some' in another. Pretty amazing talent you have there, Red.

Same word, different meanings.

Im impressed. Can you pull that same magic trick with the same word, two different issues of generality, with... say like -- 'rhubarb'?

What would you call that superpower that you exhibit there?

Oh the irony... A thread is started questioning why people feel the need to resort to personal attacks and ultimately becomes a thread full of personal attacks.

Why can't people discuss points and not try to take a shot at someone's profession, make insinuations about sexuality, looks, etc.?

I'm not talking about shots at the politician/candidate, I'm talking about towards other posters. It just seems weird that we are all a bunch of adults (or I'm pretty sure we are) but a lot of us act like 13 year old girls in cliques who have a burn book on anyone outside of that clique.

Because most people can’t think critically and engage in actual discussions where people can exchange ideas to bolster their points. Also, people refuse to read other peoples POVs and feel compelled to get their points out no matter what.

I’m actually pretty disappointed in an exchange I recently engaged with a poster who I respected as having a good head on his/her shoulders. Surprisingly I don’t feel like I’m having an actual discussion so much as interacting with someone who has a list of talking points that they are trying to get out.

Dude -- you and I share the same hometown -- either fortunately or unfortunately from your perspective. We may have met out at Surfer's sometime in the past...

I go back fairly regularly for family biz. Beer is on me if we meet sometime.
And, nothing there to argue about above. Nothing really worthwhile that is.

You are tired of me. Im not your sheperd, nor any relation to you, nor even know you (for all that I know). If you are 'tired of me' -- hey, do whats good for you.

And I have admitted being wrong here before. Just saying. Not that it matters.

Be good. Go grab some good red enchiladas at the Riviera out on Doniphan. Or a Nick's Pick at G&R down near the School of Nursing. Think of me when you are putting those plates down and how hard and bad it is 'El Paso - style' here in Central Texas.

Well the only point is the generality of the responses, and the only issue is based one word.

The 'some' from you is inherently general, and the 'some' in my response is magically not so. Sounds fun.

But, heck, you be you there, RB.

'Some' might find that a little confusing 03-lmfao 03-wink (what does that mean to you, RB? Generalized or not? Or just flip a coin or let your mood discern the meaning...)

No word, sentence, post, or inane thought you have conveyed has ever even come remotely close to confusing or impressing me.

I am amused by your arrogance and lack of self awareness.

Do continue.
