The guy who does that podcast went to like 100 mid major games in a crazy amount of time before the conference tournaments, during the conference tournaments and in the big dance. He went to our game at WKU and I think he was at the last home game against Rice.

Crazy how things work out. AK says he never expected to take the UAB job, but here he is, the winningest coach through 100 games, and on the cusp on setting the school record for wins. The student has become the teacher. Gene would be so proud.

Maybe it’s because of this story arc, but Andy feels like the most “authentic” Blazer coach we’ve had to follow Bartow. If we can get the city and fans behind this program and support it financially, I would love to see him retire here.
