This is a good point. Tech is probably right on that cut line for the next round of expansion. You have to assume UNC, Duke, Florida State and Clemson will eventually be gobbled up by the B1G/SEC behemoth...but Tech (both GT and VT), UVA, NC State and maybe even Miami may find themselves on the outside looking in by the end of the decade, with things not looking too good for Louisville, Pitt, Wake, Syracuse and especially BC.

Duke over UVA? Doubt it.

UVA and UNC are better fits for the Big 10 (or whatever you want to call it).

Clemson and FSU are best fits for the SEC.

However, until the GOR for the ACC is dissolved I don’t see anything happening.

I thought of that as well but Duke basketball is enough of an institute to get them over the finish line...probably Big 10 (soon to be 20+).

They’re feeling the pain over on the VT basketball forums. It’s been a while since VT, or JMU for that matter, did anything but fire a coach. Losing keepers is new to us.

So happy for Kenny. Sucks for VT but we sure do know how that feels.

His tweets about it today were pretty funny. Chad really does love Kenny, just like we do. I’m sure he’s bummed.
