Too many unnecessary fouls in the first quarter. Why challenge a fast breaker player who is taller than you. Asking for a foul.

Obviously Tennessee is good. Lockett is completely out of her game and the rest of the team isn’t far behind

Tennessee is absolutely a possible Final Four team. Very impressed. They are a physical team, and that’s just not something that is a strength for either of our basketball programs. There will be no shame in losing to them, but I do hope the Rockets can make it a bit more competitive so that they want to make a return trip next year!

I live here and see a lot of Tennessee basketball. This is the best they have shot all year. Q is the only Rocket who seems able to play at this level.

Rockets were making these shots against Iowa State, now we're ice cold.

Rockets 8-26, and 1-9 from three. Most of those threes were good looks - not that making a couple would have made much difference, but at least the score would not have been so depressing.

We've been battle-tested this entire season. Is Tennessee really this much better than Iowa State, Michigan, Penn State, Cincinnati, and Duke? This program deserves better than getting embarrassed like this.

Even without all their 3s we’d still be down by 20. Just a huge difference between Iowa State & Tennessee, particularly the athleticism. And we had several ladies who could beat Iowa State down the court & that’s not happening tonight. Again, not unexpected but I sure wish we were making it into a game instead of the butt stomping it is.

Not even close to being correct. Tenn has 1 more 3s than UT. UT would be down only 7 pts if they had the same number of 3s.

Tennessee is 8 of 13 from three....if they take 10 more and don't hit one it'll be on their average.

None of the teams you mentioned above has the athletic bigs Tennessee has. Our inability to put size on the floor was less a problem. Can't compete against Tennesse when the second biggest player in the game at one time is 5-10. Tennessee has 6-5- and 6-6 posts, two 6-2 WNBA draft guard stars and a whole bunch of other 6-2 and 6-3 players. Only two players on the roster under 6-1. The 3's are unexpected from Tennessee but not the rebounding or their defensive pressure. IMO this was always going to be a tough matchup for UT.

You’re assuming they didn’t convert for 2 points INSTEAD of the 3s. Given how things have gone, I’m betting they would have converted on at least half of the possessions that they actually scored 3s on.

I love how you can judge the entire worth of a player by a few minutes of performance in a game against some of the best bigs in the country, and then say they are a player that needs to be replaced. That's just silly. Aren't you the one that made fun of Jansen for missing a layup badly in one game. Yeah, she's only been one of the best Rockets in the post-season this year.

Oh, and Cook made several big stops single-handedly against Iowa State late - that was an NCAA tournament game too, last I checked.

Except it’s an entire season judgement. It’s why Cullop pulls her 3 min into the game…

And that Jansen miss was legendary even if she’s been terrific in the postseason
