I'm pretty mad the Coogs ended their season with a wimper.

I expected them to come out and show the same kind of mojo they showed last year, and the year before that in the Dance, when WE were the underdog with nothing to lose and everything to prove. Feels like we lost our mojo.

You wouldn't know we had an all-american AND an NBA 1st round pick on the team the way those two essentially no-showed tonight. So much for the experiment of bringing in a 1 and done freshman. If he'd stick around he could be a real force next year, but ya, you don't ask a 19 year old to carry anything much less the team, and I can only think of one or two games where he made everyone comment "he's a 1st round pick alright!"

Now if y'all will excuse me, I'm gonna go kick my dog... well i don't own a dog, so I'll have to kick my cat, and try to finish the rest of all this beer that everyone in my watch party lost interest in halfway through the game.

im not too upset and you can't be if your in the sweet 16. in the end only one team will be happy so making the 16 is a great goal. it only s-ks because we had a final 4 hometown and more importantly I wanted to win it being in the AAC.
some changes I would like to see is that sampson doesn't go for the one and done route. walker was great and others that were before him but our best teams were the ones from years ago that had chemistry from a few years of playing together.
i hope we go back to that or stay on that path.

Probably the most underrated coach of the last twenty years, IMO. A win Sunday and he could take two different programs to their first ever final four. That’s pretty impressive.

Thought for sure UH had a final four team this year. Great season, nonetheless with great visibility as the #1 ranked team for much of this season. But I thought Memphis had a sweet 16 team this season too, so what do I know. Good luck UH going forward in the B12

Houston was very close to having an elite 8 team. tough break not getting the timeout call and bad defense on the final play cost then. I liked their odds to make a run if they got by FAU.

Memphis likely missed the Sweet 16 (or better) by 2 points, so you weren't that far off.

I’m sad Houston lost. Really wanted our teams to meet in the tourney, would’ve been a great matchup and this board would’ve been a lot of fun on game night.

Sorry your season ended sooner than expected, UH fans. Best of luck in the B12, hope y’all show Kansas who the new sheriff in town is 04-cheers

And think Miami hired a 61-year old coach from a mid-major. I can't believe anyone saw this coming, including the Miami Athletic Department.

we are at year 12 on coach l at miami.. my point with mig major coaches was it will take them time to figure out sustainable success, what works.. i noted ron hunter still adjusting his system as an example year 4 and 5... by year 12 he will have definitely figured it out

if you want to wait 12 years and donor willing to buy players like no other, i guess go mid major

Not sure I am following you. Miami won the ACC and made a sweet 16 in his second year.

"sustainable success"...there were terrible for 4 years straight before their super rich donor started publicly buying players

It's all legal. Look at UT & several others - transfers. And they didn't transfer for the curricula. It's NIL, whether we like it or not.

I should be disappointed but I’m not… Houston had a solid season, not the results we expected of course but will recover from this… Houston is definitely going to enjoy far more exciting seasons ahead.

Those years were right after the FBI probe that the school was later cleared of. However, recruiting suffered for a couple seasons after that. Had that not happened Miami may have already won an NC by now. It makes his accomplishments even more impressive. Anyone who has watched Miami’s program closely since Coach L started would know that he is an amazing coach.
