At least OO relates to regular people, and is willing to put their overall interest ahead of any petty feelings that might get hurt.
How am I hurting 'regular' American citizens by voting just as you would (assuming that you don't believe that your vote hurts them) where my vote makes a difference... and not where it doesn't, meaning it doesn't change the outcome?? Does it really matter if Trump wins (or loses) by 10,000 votes or 10,001?
Quote:Yes, he is not a perfect man (neither are you, I or anyone here), and yes he willingly pokes at the Crazy Left and it's destructively harmful and often outright evil ideology and actions every single chance he gets. Thank goodness someone is willing to stand up to them publicly and unapologetically and call them out to their faces. He doesn't need them or like them and their poor wittle egos can't stand it they'll do anything to stop him, even throw out our country, our Constitution and all our legitimate citizenry just to keep their illusion and get their way. He actually lost money as a politiciain...how's about Turtle, Pelosi, Hunter/Joe Crime Family, Ryan, Cheney, Schitmer, Schift, et al?
Here is the best way I can say it.
There are times and places where 'certain language' is appropriate and helpful, and times and places where that same language is inappropriate and harmful... and Trump doesn't seem to know the difference.
Quote:Nope, most of America voted for an imperfect but steadfast man who had their backs 100% the whole time rather than the lying bought-off cowards and charlatans they had been presented with umpteen times before as they continued their grift and did almost nothing for the American Citizen but disdain them. Americans will gladly take their imperfect knight, dinged though he may be over the commies and the commie-lites any day of the week.
How did anything I said do this? I said I'd vote for him if it meant keeping Biden or almost any other Democrat out of office?? But I'd prefer someone with most of his agenda, but less of his unnecessary and harmful bravado. What I mean by harmful is that he KNOWS that much of what he does makes him a target for attack... which leads to lots more people (I mean leftists/centrists) voting AGAINST him or his agenda than FOR his opponent or their agenda...
He is literally his own worst enemy... because his personality causes him to LOSE battles that I want him to win. The 2020 election being exhibit 1.
Based on his AGENDA, He SHOULD have won re-election in a landslide... He SHOULD have been able to sweep a Republican congress into power in 2018. He didn't, because of his personality.
If you want to argue that they cheated their way to victory, that's fine and I won't take an issue with that... but his PERSONALITY is what encouraged them to cheat and allowed it to happen, not his agenda.
Quote:You, the other posters here, and almost all of Legal American Citizenry were doing so much better just a few years ago, but you'd rather spite your face and further destroy good solid American families and children. Got it. Your stated modus operandi hurts good American families and American children far more than holding your nose and pulling for someone who isn't perfect but who's election would help most all American families and children and put our enemies back into their corners. Your virtue-signalling is incredible. He brings so much more to the table than he takes away.
Yeah... this just isn't remotely accurate/reflective of me.... and is in direct conflict with what I said. I essentially SAID that I WOULD hold my nose and vote for him if it mattered... but that at least as I know now, it wouldn't matter. To be clear, this doesn't mean he won't carry my state. It means that if I am confident that my vote won't change the outcome, then I may not vote for him. If I'm not confident that the outcome is decided, I probably WOULD vote for him.
So again, using things I've said rather than platitudes, please tell me how my position does ANY of what you claim??
Quote:The problem is not that he brings more votes against him, the problem is the fraudsters that have infiltrated our nation and destroyed our elections are allowed to go unpunished and un-outed by the left and the collaborators on the right.
Without agreeing or disagreeing with your first comment, I wouldn't vote for those people either. In my numerous conversations with Tanq on this topic... I have mostly agreed with your assessment that 'the swamp' is a problem and needs to be purged.... with the only caveat that 'the swamp' isn't a single universal description. In your simple one above, I would agree with that as being 'the swamp'.
I won't bother to address your last few lines... not because of what you say but because it doesn't really address anything I've said.

Couldn't agree more. His 'agenda' is vastly more popular than his attitude is.
