RE: NIU Wrestling
Bummer.....Sad to see this happen but not surprised at all. On the flip side of this.

There was a stud wrestler from Northern Colorado this year named Andrew Alirez. He won the NCAA championship at 141 pounds. He was born and raised in Greeley Colorado, the home of the University of Northern Colorado. He was a five star recruit and could of wrestled anywhere he wanted. But he chose to stay home. After he won the 141 title a couple weeks ago, ESPN always does a quick live interview with each champion right after the match. Andrew Alirez was asked about staying in Greeley. The kid was flawless in his response and finished his interview with "stay loyal". This interview is worth a watch.

The dying art of "staying loyal" in college sports.
