Whatever happens, been a hell of a year. After watching basketball all day yesterday, it’s striking to me both that we can play with all of these teams, and in a one game tournament it can end at any time. The future is bright. I think winning the conference tournament lets some pressure off the guys to just go play. Wouldn’t be shocked at all to make a run.

I truly believe he has turned the proverbial corner and is much better all around.

No denying it. He decided to rebuild his roster via the portal with a stud and mostly roll players. Coached them to an AAC championship and a berth in the NCAA tournament. That’s no small feat.

That makes next season a real challenge IMO, a lot of young guys coming in with no real experience at PG. Hope we find another KD in the portal.

KD is a phenom, so much so I'm inclined to call him the best Memphis has had. I don't think we've ever had a guard who could do the things he does. He is freakishly good. Not sure there are others like him lurking around.
