I love it !!! LOL

The Transfer Portal has definitely increased the parity across College Basketball.
It is fun. Hope we learn to use it wisely.

Pierce is a proud W&M alum. I've seen him back for homecoming events after he left.

Outstanding. I will never forget when we recruited him that he stated he wanted to be part of the first W&M team into the tourney. He certainly gave the effort and I hope he lives to see it.

The Princeton crowd and support last night reminded me so much of W&M. Much like the flooding of the Baltimore Arena for the CAA championship, it seemed like alums from everywhere made the pilgrimage for that game.

I have chatted with Justin and his mom after he left and they indicated that he wanted to stay but not after Tony was let go!!

This is accurate. They had to scramble to get him into grad schools before the deadline and find a school that would take him.

I don't have a comment on this, but I thought it was interesting that transfers made up about half the starters of the remaining teams. It's Twitter, so there's no deeper dive into how many of the transfers transferred this past offseason or anything else that's more meaningful.

I see that the DIV-III Women's Championship game is not being played until April 1 -- two weeks after the semifinals!! What's up with that??? Seriously, what's up with that? Talk about a momentum killer.....

I just saw the answer to your question in this morning's Virginian Pilot. I honor of the 50th anniversary of Title IX, the NCAA is holding the championship games of all 3 Divisions in Dallas this weekend, with all games being held in the same arena. I think that the CNU women play Saturday at noon.

Thanks for that info! I did see that Div-II was also this weekend but since there wasn’t TWO WEEKS between semifinals and finals I didn’t attach any special significance to the date. The idea of combining all three divisions is cool but I think it is unfair that III had to wait so long.

The Lady Captains lost to Transylvania in a close game. So, no dual Men’s and Women’s Div-III Championships. That definitely would have been cool for them!

RE: NCAA Tournament talk
Still 3 minutes to go in the first men’s semi so a lot of basketball left this weekend but …
I’m nominating Iowa - South Carolina as the game of the weekend. And note Iowa scored more points off the pick and roll than the Tribe men did all year.
