UL leading AState 10-3 in the 8th Not sure I get the placement of concessions behind home plate. That is prime real estate.
Assuming you are referring to ULM or was it a different game? Tuned in to the final inning of ODU at ULM and I'm still unsure what the setup behind home plate is in Monroe
Maybe I'm confused I was watching both games on the computer.

. I thought it was a bit weird. I've never seen that before really.

SO it's ULM that has the concessions behind home plate?
not sure if it was a concession area but it looked like a setup similar to what USM has down the left field line with the Bullpen club seating area...but again, it was behind home plate and had maybe 3-5 people there. And looked like some kind of glass door back there where maybe people entered to sit in that area.

Yeah that is what I'm referring to. It's a cool looking stadium on the full screen shot. Just seems weird to see concession behind home plate.
attached is pic related
The stadium was built so no matter where you walk, you can see the game. While it looks funky on tv for night games, it is really nice when you are standing in line for a beer and can turn around to see live baseball. You never have to miss a pitch.

I bet that is nice when getting a beer. I went to our concessions and missed 2 innings
I say replace it with club seating. But I know what concessions I am visiting at your park.

That's super nice. Especially if your concession lines are anything like JMU football and basketball lol. Leave just before halftime, miss half the third quarter!

Yeah we usually hear comments about that. What you need to know that coach Robe was adamant that the new stadium be 100% about fan experience….and it is. It may look a little different on tv, but as others have stated it is fantastic if you are in the stadium. There are virtually zero spots where you can’t get a total view of the action on the field.
The only flaw is that are no public bathrooms (only some in the private club space) on the top concourse, so you need to walk up/down like 3 stories if you gotta go.
ETA: also, though it may not easy to see on video, there are like 4 rows of premium seats all along the main floor, under the grandstand. So there is not a lack of seating in that area

HARRISONBURG, Va. – For the 10th time this season, Coastal Carolina baseball's offense exploded for double-digit runs as the Chanticleers welcomed James Madison to the Sun Belt Conference with a 16-3 road win at JMU in the two teams' conference opener on Friday afternoon in Harrisonburg, Va.
The Chanticleers erased an early 3-0 deficit by scoring 16 unanswered runs from the third inning on to run away with the conference road win.

They should be. I thought that all conference games have to be aired on espn +.

Not this year, that is the end goal especially when the new TV deal takes effect next season, but its not required yet.
I'm really surprised that we wouldn't have it though. Likely due to the big lacrosse game at home at the same time if I had to guess. That one was on ESPN+ as #7 JMU took down #8 Florida 13-9.
