The thin Utah mountain air caused us to miss 367 shots.

We lost because our rookie AD Richie Cunningham sent us on the road when the game should have been at HOME. He could not figure out a plan to delay sanding the floor for a week so we lose by 6.

What a moron!

You lost because UVU has a far better team and dominated your team start to finish.

OK trollovilo4EVER.

Yell upstairs and tell mom about how you're roasting those Cincinnati people. She'll bring you some extra animal crackers for snacky time.

We lost by six which is hardly domination. If you ever are allowed by your Mom to go to the mountains you will understand the effect of elevation. Remove that and play at UC and we win.

UCF, like Utah Valley, benefited once in the NIT because of an opponent not being able to host. After we beat Illinois State on the road, we were fortunate to have the chance to host Illinois in the next round instead of playing at their place. They had an event scheduled at their arena that prevented them from hosting. We beat Illinois on our court and made the NIT Final Four.

Not taking anything away from Utah Valley . . . they've done well to get this far in the NIT. But I think they did have a little bit of luck on their side in not having to travel to UC. Doesn't mean that Utah Valley couldn't have still found a way to win, but they certainly would've had a much tougher challenge.

RE: B12 in NIT
Had UC won tonight they would have faced UAB coach Andy Kennedy who was an assistant at UC under HOF coach Bob Huggins and who was UC's interim coach for one season after UC Pres. Dr. Nasty Zimpher forced Huggins out because she could not tolerate him being a bigger name than she was. Plus there was a DUI thing.

ironic-you posted about huggs and zimpher, and mentioned his dui issues - the picture of the new court also shows the scoreboard - its showing the name of someone else, who I understand contributed to huggs' demise 03-wink

Huggs and Jeff were once real good friends. Rumor has it that Jeff has offended by Bob doing the horizonal with Jeff's wife. Bob was a known womanizer. Back when Huggs was still coach an attractive mid 30 women asked if she could sit at our table at the annual UCATS boat trip. We of course said sure. During the trip she revealed she was not a UCATS member but Bob got her a ticket because she was a "special" friend and went into some veiled detail about the friendship.

Bob got more tail than a toilet seat back then. He was a rock star in this city, and young Bob was very dapper. I was a student in the early/mid 90s and girls on campus would say they thought he liked like Alex Baldwin. I imagine he got a lot of hotel key cards back then.
