RE: 2023 NCAA Tourney Speculation
Absolutely dominant performance against Gonzaga last night. It looked like we ate their soul, lol.

Didn’t really like the TBS broadcasters acting like the 4th foul on Timme was BS after the game. Yes, it basically killed Gonzaga’s chances of winning, but he shouldn’t have been so aggressive with that many fouls. Clearly displaced Jackson and almost elbowed him in the face. But it’s Drew Timme and he has 3 fouls so they were supposed to let it go? Lol. We learned with Bouknight there is a reason not to run your offense through one player without a backup plan, and hopefully Few did last night as well.

Let’s go Creighton! Y’all got this tonight!

Tough way for Creighton to go out. Still a great season overall

CU shot 2-17 from 3-point range for the game, NLess. The Jays somewhat wilted in the second half, as they were physically unable to effectively handle a stronger, tougher foe. Creighton enjoyed a strong season. Congrats to CU.

Not exactly the type of posts I thought I would find on the conference realignment board, lol.

I agree with you though, they missed a lot of gimmies but also couldn’t hit a three to save their lives. I do agree that the physicality of SDSU got to them as well. They should have won, but did not play up to their strengths IMO. Still a great season, but a heat breaking way to go out

I posted that in response to a Rutgers fan's post that suggested Creighton was robbed of a win — which I felt was insulting to San Diego State. (Perhaps, to be fair to the poster, I misinterpreted him. But he didn't respond, so I guess all is cool.)

My take: If Creighton and SDSU played 10 times, hypothetically, on a neutral court and during the regular season, CU could win seven to eight. But in a high-stakes winner-take-all game with a Final Four on the line, San Diego State (which is very physical, aggressive, well-coached and deep) had the advantage.

Your UConn team brings lots of positives to the table and has a great chance to win it all. But if Miami beats UC, it will likely be because of Jim Larranaga. He truly is a top-notch (and experienced) coach.

Stay calm this week, my friend!

It has been tough to stay calm, lol. Just want it to be the weekend so I can see the game! Love being the favorite but also love seeing this team play with that chip on their shoulder when they’re considered the underdog. Not worried about how we will play though, I have faith Hurley will have them ready.

Larranaga still gives me nightmares from ‘06, lol. Time to get revenge! 01-lauramac2

My hope is to see Miami vs. Florida Atlantic in the title game — a battle of South Florida, if you will. Would be very cool.

But it does seem your Huskies have a strong chance of winning it.

Keep the faith, NLess!

How dare you root against the Big East.. and my Huskies! 01-lauramac201-lauramac201-lauramac2

I’m in South Florida but I obviously can’t pull for that result, lol.

If UConn were not in it, I would likely be pulling for the same result tbh
