i feel like we've passed the ball to the other team about 15 times now

I've never seen so many goaltending called by refs that aren't goaltending.
Again could be these terrible camera angles but I doubt it.

Gaines does so many dumb things… but can also make amazing plays. That dunk was next level. One thing is for sure. AK loves him.

That was 100% a goaltending on Gaines. It hit the backboard before he blocked it.

They've given us chances to shorten the lead, but we have squandered them so far

We aren’t boxing anyone out. They are still murdering us on the boards. We have to start making some shots. Can’t be cold when you’re down 16. And for the love of god someone show a pulse and box someone out. I’ve never seen us get our rebounded so badly.

I agree with whoever said the team thought they won the ship after last night. AK didn’t rein them in and didn’t have them ready today.

LA brewer has been awful. Just comes in and forces the first shot he sees early in the shot clock.

This team can’t see that our manic, pressing, panicking play plays right into their hands. We have to slow down and get good shots. And box out. And basically do everything the opposite of what we’ve done so far.

i thought the brewer brothers came here because they wanted to win a championship and/or go to the Big Dance?

they are playing pretty horribly

This collection of players, and jelly, has panicked, pressed, and collapsed when out in this situation. We can’t understand that playing fast, erratic and crazy doesn’t help. We have to slow down. Jelly just took an awful shot

This was an embarrassment. Didn’t see this coming. The effort on the boards is downright deplorable. Rebounds and loose balls are pure hustle stats. They’ve outworked us from the jump. Really sad to see us go down like this.

Would love to see AK start to recruit players with better basketball IQ.

Such a disappointment after the way we played yesterday. I don't see AK going anywhere after this disappointment of a season, but who knows.

I feel like I should have expected this performance based on past UAB experience.

I really do feel like Jelly used all his energy for the game yesterday.

This team tonight was the worst version of itself at the absolute worst time. This is the same team that got WAXED by toledo. I always thought that we would end up imploding at some point in a big game when it was all on the line, but our recent play had me believing that we had turned a corner. This team never really grew. We are the same low basketball IQ, sloppy, one dimensional team. That’s sad. The effort was pitiful tonight. I could’ve taken a hard fought loss to a very good FAU team, but we laid down and waved the white flag about 5 minutes in. F*cking embarrassing.

Proud of the team for turning it around late in the year when we were on the verge of complete implosion when jelly got hurt, but tonight stings. This team should’ve been one of the best in UAB history. But we got the Great Value brand version.

AK has to really evaluate how he builds his teams, schedules, and how he plays favorites with certain players (Gaines). This year was not his finest coaching job by far.

So overall… very disappointing year considering how good we SHOULD have been, good run at the end, and absolute implosion when it mattered most. This season will always be remembered for what could have, and should have been.

No need to overanaluze and overreact.

We had a crappy defensive plan that including have three bad defenders try to guard the best nba prospect in the league (Davis) instead of the only guy with with the body and skill set to even try (Lovin) while on offense we lost all semblance of actually running sets with precision to catch and shoot in rhythm

Anything else is garbage time.

Idk, listening to the postgame presser yesterday, it sounded like he was going to keep utilizing the portal in the future.

This foul fest isn't very fun to watch.
