Harkins, college basketball writer, considered one of the best experts in picking the NCAA basketball tourney teams. He has UT as a 13th seed versus #4 Virginia. Interesting he has only 1 team making into the field from the A10 conference, VCU. Don't be surprise that UD grabs the A10 title. He is picking 9 teams from the Big 10 conference.

Thanks for the generosity of an organization recognizing veterans in the donation of tickets to the first 4 in, in Dayton, I am going to the games on both nights. About 11,500 fans on each night annually attends this event.

Seriously is there still a CBI ? Now that MidnightBlueGold brought it up, WSU fans are not very happy with their coach, after taking them to the dance 2 out of the last 6 years, they have gotten spoil. Plus the fact when you lose 2 starters ( to OSU and VaTech) off their tournament team last year to the portal, that really hurt. I hope that doesn't happen to UT's tournament bound team. What do we always say, MONEY TALKS!

Vermont wins a bid. UAB has advanced to CUSA title game against 30-3 FAU. If they win it will give CUSA 2 bids and give us a 3-0 record over the field if we beat Kent.

Side note, anyone see S Utah ending over favorite Utah Valley in the WAC? Up 3 in the final seconds UVU tries to foul but does it poorly and grabs a guy going into his shooting motion. He hits the off balance 3 and gets a free throw for the 4 point play and the win.

Off to see the First 4 on Tuesday and Wednesday , in Dayton, Oh. Should be a ruckus crowd inside the UD arena. My picks:
