Congrats everyone on the championship and the NCAA tournament bid.

Now I have to say I will be sick to my stomach if it ends up being Xavier vs Kent State in the 1st round.

As you can see from my logo I root for those 4 teams plus Kent State (I just can't fit all 5 in the logo)

I think Xavier is going to be a #4 seed and Kent State will be a #13 seed so there is a chance man I would hate that so much.

Would be nice to get #12 seed but all the best mid majors won their tournaments this year so no spot opened.

Charleston, Drake, Oral Roberts and VCU would all likely be ahead of Kent State.

Outstanding win by an outstanding team. Outstanding on both offense and defense. I'm happy for all of them.

We played so well the entire tournament. I think it's clear the best team won. So proud of these guys and truly believe a win in the tournament isn't out of the question. Fingers crossed for a close/easy location to get to.

Depth mattered tonight. Kent State's non-starters outscored Toledo's 29-2.

Our bench outperformed theirs, but both teams basically played 7 guys.

My thoughts...we are good. Carry is really good. Jacobs is really good. Payton jumps really high and dunks really hard. Refs are really bad.

We won't get as high of a seed as we'll deserve and whoever we play won't be happy about that either.

JT Shumate's nightmares have nightmares about Malique Jacobs. It's incredible how he's made Shumate (a really good player) a complete non factor twice this year. 5 points in 34 minutes and 3 of them came on a foul they gave him for getting Jacobs with the Reggie Miller leg.

Not sure when they'll fix it... But wow Cleveland.com. Calling Sendy "John Groce" in the caption on the picture? Journalism is at an all time low. AI wouldn't have screwed that up.

Great win for the team. Everyone contributed which was great to see. My feeling is that Kent just out-offensed the best offense in the league. Toledo couldn't stop Kent in the 2nd half and when Kent finally got some stops with about 4 minutes left, they just pulled away. I loved Carry's play, but, to me, Malique was the MVP of tonight's game. Dude was everywhere.

So proud of this team. They played great tonight and deserved to win it! Really happy for Carry and Jacobs. They could have flown the coop but stayed, fought and gutted out a championship. Well done fellas!

True on Jacobs ... but I don't think Thomas had three better back-to-back-to-back games all season. He could have won it, too.
