Not a huge fan of the camera angles on the broadcast.

RE: ESPN+ broadcast
It probably has more to do with this terrible ass venue/setup.

RE: ESPN+ broadcast
in all fairness...when you set up 2 courts, divided by a curtain, in a football practice facility...well, probably doesn't leave the AV folks a ton of options (lets get out of this stupid conference)

Quote:I talked with the director of the CBS broadcast and he said he was trying to get the cameras raised higher to the level they were last year. You can’t see it on the broadcast but the floor is bouncier this year. Media can feel it when people walk on the raised platform. Something is off, and while the lifts can raise higher, they will not if they detect movement. The bounciness means the lifts can’t go higher than they are now, which results in a low angle. The thinking is “we’ll use the other court to build a platform” and make that happen. “It feels like a bigger event if the camera is higher” he says.

The high camera angle at Bartow is equally as bad.

RE: ESPN+ broadcast
Seen on a few Twitter accounts. What a joke.
They did in fact use parts of Court B to make the lifts taller...
