I think they can beat them. The last time we played them was a long time ago, so who knows now. At this point our resume speaks for itself. If it ends up that way, and at this point we don't know as Akron is being a bit of a pest, it will be a great match up.

This is why college basketball is so cool.

UT gave them hell in their game at Kent, UT can't play their game and expect to win. Play up tempo ball and advance !

Akron is in trouble unless something strange happens. Castaneda on the bench with 4 fouls. Akron hasn't looked very good in the second half. Too many turnovers for one thing.

Hope we are ready for Kent’s defensive intensity.

The way the game is officiated will be important. Calling it tight will benefit Toledo. Kent does a lot of grabbing and pushing on defense.

Akron had 18 turnovers, and Castaneda went 2-10 from 3, and Akron only lost by 6.

Mr. Carry has a date with Mr. Moss tomorrow night. This should be a ball.

Crazy, ain't it? This is what we've all been waiting on.

The key to the game tomorrow, IMO, is taking care of the passing lanes. Kent is long, athletic, and physical, and they seem to be really "handsy." They like to get their hands in the passing lanes, and Jacobs is the MAC defensive player of the year. Don't force passes, make them crisp and accurate.

Nobody said it was going to be easy winning the MAC Tournament and tonight Toledo was tested like few other games during this 17 game winning streak. But like they have done since that loss to Kent St early in January, they persevered and made the plays down the stretch that got them the tough win. On a night when Shumate and Milner were held to single digit points, it was our guard tandem of Dennis and Maddox that came to the rescue and made up the difference. Dennis was exceptional tonight and put his team on his back and delivered big time. That behind the back pass to Milner when he was being defended was a thing of beauty and Milner obliged with a clutch basket late in the shot clock that delivered a dagger to The Bobcats. While it didn’t show on the Stat Sheet, I thought both Farmer and Edu made key plays during the game that help turn the tide for The Rockets. Now its down to one game against Kent St tomorrow night with everything on the line. The 1 and 2 Seeds, Dennis vs. Carry, 40+ years of not being asked to The Dance. What more you can ask for!

I believe in UT more than I ever have.

I've had some eligible adult beverages since 2014, but I remember well that team wasn't defensively minded enough to be special. In 2018, we had injuries and were up against a juggernaut of UB.

KSU has the swag, the cache, the moxy. But we are different.

I don't know how I will sleep.
