This happened after the other NIT game at Oregon...

Quote:Dana Altman didn't pull any punches during his postgame presser. Called it "embarrassing" that Oregon had just 3,300 fans in attendance on Tuesday.

“If It’s me, then make the (coaching) change. Make the change. Somebody will hire me somewhere. I’ll go coach junior college ball."

That is pretty epic.

Wow! That Oklahoma State team went 8-10 in the mighty Big 12, while West Virginia only went 7-11.

Huge win! I do have to point out the half time score was UNT 24 - OK State 17. How frustrating!

By the way, Tylor Perry had 23 points and was 6-6 from the foul line. He is 88% from the foul line this season.

McCasland coaches an ugly, boring, inefficient style of offense, but his teams win. a lot.

He's given AK fits. Our CUSA tournament game against them was the first time I've seen us actively do something to try to shut down Perry, and it worked magically. Before that, he was running circles around us and we twiddled our thumbs.

I think a positive is that our staff is active in the portal. hard to convince kids to transfer here if you intend to jump ship at the next opening.

I don’t really think we have attendance bickering. Our attendance is below what any of us, or Coach AK would like to see. I don’t think there is any debating that.

Now my big question is how do we go about improving that? It won’t happen overnight, no matter what we do, but what is our plan to get more people out to games? If we don’t have one, which it appears we don’t, then we need to develop one.

Looks like we made it through another carousel holding onto AK. Really looking forward to what happens in the AAC next season. Dusty May might have advanced himself too far this year to get another job, Wichita State & South Florida have both made strong hires, and Temple is still looking.

Overall home attendance average increased by 23% this year; home conference average increased by 26% this year. I see that continuing to increase with the move to the American.

I think the C-USA scheduling model of usually having two home games in a three day period also hurt attendance to a degree.
