Midweek MACtion has to impact those numbers for the MAC. I guess it comes down to the ESPN payday and national exposure for the conference versus butts in the seats. Money always wins.

Rivalry games on week nights will do that to you.

EMU is at toledo on a tuesday.

toledo is at BGSU on a tuesday.

CMU is at WMU on a tuesday.

These are just killers.

I think both of you have identified the problem.

The MAC whored itself out for the midweek TV money.

I am very skeptical of that 14k figure. Maaaybe 2k students show up. Unless the entire parking lot is full(
(nah) of 13 passenger vans we're not hitting 14k. I mean, I often have a bleacher for my butt, a bleacher for my back and a bleacher for my feet at the 40 yard line. Granted, everyone is lying, like when the Big House is 1/2 empty for a little sisters of the poor game and they claim 100k.
