Gaines had a very nice game after a bad start

Our semifinal against UNT tomorrow deserves to be primetime on CBSSN. Instead its in the afternoon and the MAC of all conferences have their semis on CBSSN in late afternoon and primetime.
Thankfully only 2.5 months until we are out of this conference.

I feel like our game tomorrow is the more marquee of the 2 men's games. We need to show out

Wow rice’s depth is AWFUL. They gave 3 good players and that is literally it. Their back up big man almost just shot a hook shot over the goal.

I agree. Big time mid major matchup. Should be a popular game across the country for real basketball fans.

I believe Perry is well rested. UNT will definitely do a better job guarding Jelly than what Rice did tonight. Jelly has got to hit the open man tomorrow when they double up on him.

After a disjointed start the team played very well tonight. We dropped 87 points and shot above 50% from the floor and from three, shot 76% from the line, we out-rebounded them by 7, and only had 10 total turnovers.

We had some incredibly efficient stat lines tonight..

Jelly 27 on 13 shots
Buffen 16 on 9 shots
Jemison 12 on 7
Gaines 10 on 4 with 6 rbs and 6 assists -only 2 turnovers.

Tomorrow will be a totally different animal. Going to be a total slug fest against a good team that thrives on playing ugly basketball.

They’ve beaten us 3 times in a row. They’re overconfident. It’s our turn. I like our chances tomorrow.

Perry over the last four games against UAB (two seasons), has scored 15, 25, 10, and 28. That’s an average of 19.5 points/game.

He is 15-18 from the foul line, but only has a total of 5 assists over those 4 games.
