Yep, would have been better for him to try to finish at the rim and try for a foul. But that looked like a pass straight to a Rice player.

What are these shots we are taking?!

Jemison shooting fade away hooks outside of the paint against a physically inferior defender, turning the ball over under the rim, both brewers taking quick contested shots out of the offensive rhythm, missing free throws. We better wake TF up. If Gaines did not come to play AK needs to sit him. CLEAR difference in the team the moment he subbed in.

Gaines plays so out of control…

A good assist by Gaines, a great move by Jemison and a Jelly 3 to put us up by five. Way to respond, Blazers!

Thank god we can force this team into a ton of turnovers. Otherwise we’d be down. We’ve been very sloppy and keep taking bad shots. KJ, despite shooting better lately, should not be the first option on offense taking jumpers.

Good end to the half. AK made a good point recently that the QF game can be tough because the opponent played the night before and is warmer and more familiar with the court/venue. Happy to be up 10 at the half, let's see if we can beat them again by 20+ and get some confidence for tomorrow's game against UNT.

Dynamic way to close the half!

We forced them into 13 turnovers and had 6 more shot attempts. They outrebounded us by one. We are shooting well overall. We should have this one in the bag if we don’t do something stupid.
