Are you okay with football forgiving early season losses, but basketball essentially setting the season in stone from them?

That's what SOS-based metrics do, though, regardless of if the committee considers last 10 games...

The NET is far worse than RPI because while RPI has the same root-caused flaws as NET, the NET is basically counting the flaw like six times, and the RPI was counting it three.

You just hate it because it doesn't allow mid-majors to game it anywhere near as much as they could the RPI.

I saw what conferences like the MVC did with the RPI. Glad it's gone.

Oh yes, when the MVC “cracked” the RPI and the MVC sent 2 teams to the Sweet 16 after all that nonsense - all while they were somehow still one of the top conferences in KenPom. Did they crack KenPom too?

The Billy Packers and Jay Bilas’s of the world were aimed at viewers like you - no substance, no critical thought, no evidence - just blab something people like you will eat up because it doesn’t align with their strictly brand-obsessed view of the sport.

RPI has a team like VCU 33 right now. I'm sorry, but that is GARBAGE. Don't like it- maybe don't lose to a team like Jacksonville.

I believe both vastly overrated FAU…

VCU would annihilate the Owls.
