Think we're still above the cut line even after the loss.

A loss before the finals could drop us below the line.

Palm has among the worst accuracy out of any bracket analyst. He's currently near the very bottom at number 125 out of 148 analysts who are tracked by The Bracket Project.

We are in barring a blowout loss to a bad team.

Can’t lose to anyone but UCF or Houston on our side of bracket and feel safe. Lose to UCF and it will be a quad 2 loss but probably still drops us to 10/11

I think we need to make the championship game to ENSURE we don’t get stuck in the play-in game. I have to believe we’re in, but a game 1 loss to UCF/SMU would put us back in the play-in discussion. If we make the championship game, I hope we can elevate to a #7.

This. We are in. Period. Not even a blowout loss this weekend will change that. Those saying otherwise just haven’t looked at our resume.

RE: ESPN.com Bubble Watch
The easiest way to move up is for some other teams to blow it early in their tourneys.

If we make the finals and a few close to us lose on Friday and Saturday, we might squeeze by them for a better seed.

I concur that by Sunday we don't have a lot chance to move whether we beat Houston or not.

The bracket is done Saturday. Just don’t lose Friday and I’m 99% sure we are fine.

Really? Zero? I realize it is not likely, but what if someone other than Houston or Memphis wins the tournament. That team would go to the NCAAs along with Houston. Still think it's a 100% chance that we would go?

I think they are right. If the scenario you mention comes to fruition, the conference tournament champion would kick off one of the “last four in” teams. We are surely well above the pecking order to fall that far to be out all together.

We're literally sitting 16-18 teams above the hard bubble according to most of the brackets. Even a horrible first game loss wont knock us out.

I'm not sure how you came up with your assumption as I never said that you feel one way or the other. Your post didn't give any indication of how you felt, aside from feeling the OP was wrong, so I asked a question for clarity. That's usually what one does when they want more information.

Whatever

Did I accuse you of feeling that way or did I ask you a question seeking clarity? The first hint will be the "?" symbol at the end of the sentence, but you already had your mind made up before you responded to me in the first place.

WTF are you babbling about?

Our resume isn't that great to be honest. We're 2-4 in quad one games 8-3 quad 2 and have a quad 3 loss.

Are combined 10-7 in quad 1 and 2, while 13-1 in quad 3 and 4.
