And before anyone makes a big deal out of this... This actually happened during the first civil war. In fact feral hogs likely prefer warm live meat to the corpses. So they probably ate the wounded first. Then later, as food became scarce for the Confederacy I'm sure some troops hunted and then consumed these hogs fattened on human flesh.

Would take something truly dystopian like administratively cutting off food supplies, or martial law with no habeus corpus for people to ever care enough. Vast majority will just grumble and stay in their lane with all of the current stuff that keeps rolling along. There is Hulu and Netflix to watch.

This is why there wont be a civil war. Why on earth would anyone sacrifice anything or anyone just to stay united to people they are teaching their children to hate. Former Clinton Labor Secretary suggested locking conservatives in concentration camps for re-education. AOC wants to keep lists of Trump voters in order to punish them later---be that "re-education" camps or perhaps just blocking them from the financial system so they become impoverished and die off. Seems to me, that the liberal leadership would welcome the chance to be rid of the obstructionist ignorant rubes in flyover country that are ruining their ability to finally build a totalitarian socialist utopia. There are plenty of people motivated for more separation---I just dont see any group who's going to fight for tighter bonds.

Problem is most of the chickens will die and therefore there'll be no eggs.

Most I could see is Plains, Red Midwest, & South putting peaceful secession up for a vote & it not passing in the majority of them.

Eventually, the grocery stores in the coastal states will run out of food in that scenario.

Truth is our country isn’t anything like it was 50 years ago. I’m sure our grandparents said the same thing during the Free Love 60’s, Gays coming out of the closet, Drugs and Disco, Interracial relationships and anything else that they considered bad change.

We have always had a bunch of extremists on both sides of every issue going back to our Nation’s birth. (Remember the Tories?) The only difference is today with social media and the internet those extremists can hook up with other extremists around their city, state, country or world and they can get together and do dumb things.

Thankfully there are still calmer heads on both sides. Like Bob Dylan once lamented “Times they are a changing”. It will be change I probably wouldn’t agree with but it will be another generations world.

Different Hopefully better at least to them.

I wish I wasn't associated with the current generation. I don't understand why they want to turn America into Europe.
