So Arkansas ends up with Texas, TAMU, and Mizzou?

Mizzou is such an odd duck in the SEC. They don’t have a legitimate conference rival, but hey, they’re making money!

IMO, the one misstep the SEC has made realignment-wise is inviting Missouri. I agree they are an odd duck. To me, they don't fit in and they don't add value.

I mean, they aren't a disaster. But it was a very "meh" invite, IMO.

They’re a better fit I think now that Texas/OU are in the conference. But I thought West Virginia made more sense in 2011.

It's more that they don't fit the vibe of the other recent adds by the SEC and Big 10. Those two conferences are cherry picking the far and away most valuable properties in each conference(Texas/Oklahoma/USC/UCLA). Was Missouri even a top-half property in the Big 12? Was just an odd selection.

It's like it the ACC expired, and instead of Clemson and Florida State, the SEC snagged Wake Forest and UNC. Head scratcher.

I think Black Friday makes more sense. Saves it from the NFL games and the Egg Bowl has established itself as the Thanksgiving night game.
