UVA Seating Suggestions
Hoping y'all could give some suggestions since you all were @UVA last year.

What were the Visitor section(s)? Was it better to just buy through a third party for a better section? How was Demand? Etc

3rd party, no demand. Free tickets to be had in the uva lot taped to the light poles.

RE: UVA Seating Suggestions
I've made the our two trips to Charlottesville and enjoyed both.

Tailgating is great at the nearby Office Park (Free and not a bad walk).

I think the visitor sections are 111 - 113 area. With a State Team visiting, I think a lot of parties are "mixed" fanbases. I have attended with my UVa friends. I think you'll be close to your purple friends no matter where you sit.

You can get your tickets pretty easily I'd say since it's such a big stadium. I suspect that they start off pricing high and lower the prices as it get's closer to game day.

The night game was very pleasant (2019). Last years 2PM kick off was brutal. Seek the shade on the home bench side if possible.

We brought a big group of friends last season (20 folks or so) and were able to get a group rate directly through UVA right next to the ODU ticket section. It worked great and would recommend it.

You are right about ticket prices. I bought mine a few weeks ahead from UVA and as game week approached I got emails about discounted prices. They took a nose dive by game day. You’re also right about the sun. Our group got scorched. I was able to cover my neck but I wish I had worn pants instead of shorts.
