Finale at the DAC. Celebrate Washington's senior day (unless she had one last year). She will break the Drexel all time scoring record as well (she needs 10). Also huge implications for that top seed. Thursday has an impact but if we lose we will fall to either the 2 or 3 seed, and obviously a win gets us the title and NIT birth. All eyes thursday are on SBU and towson. We are SBU fans. A&T has faltered some down the stretch, I think we take care of business.

Massive implications upset today with A&T losing to Delaware. That eliminates them from the top seed contention and they were a problem with good record against the top teams. So we are now looking at only NU, Towson and SBU. So now if SBU beats Towson we are guaranteed the top seed win or loss (as we have the tiebreaker over both SBU and NU). Towson is the only hurdle now. So we should all be big Stony Brook fans tonight

Towson won. So it comes down to Saturday for the top seed. NU and Towson are unlikely to lose (individually or both), so we have to win to hold the title and WNIT automatic birth if needed. Hopefully they are well supported in a very important game and one Kei will get the single season Drexel scoring record to boot.

We were up 3 at half. Led as much as 8 and trailed by 2 late after Kei went out in the 2nd quarter. 8 left in 4th and we now lead 50-45. Its been tight all 2nd half

Out of our timeout we got blocked. They made a layup and took a timeout. Final minute all tied at 57

Tough way to lose. We got a steal then turned it over then fouled them shooting with a second left. They hit both we lost 59-57. No points for final 3:50. Brutal. Since NU and Towson won its a 3 way tie for first so Towson wins the top seed and WNIT berth, we get the 2nd seed

Definitely a frustrating loss. Large A&T contingent at the game. Not sure who or what brough them there, but they really made it a lively atmosphere. They'll still probably be able to call themselves the regular season co-champions, and I'm really not sure how much the seeding will really matter. Drexel was the top seed twice in the past 5 years and still didn't win. It's been a while since the #1 seed captured the title. So they just have to learn from the loss and be the most prepared team in Towson.

We have an alumni chapter in Philadelphia and New Jersey. Alums in the Philadelphia area don’t get to see live games so close to their homes.
