Hope Chelby is back at 100% (or close). We obviously need her at the top of her game to give us any chance of a win or more in Cleveland. Anything less gives us much thinner depth and throws a lot more pressure to A'jah, Janae, Sidney.......

Jayden Marable did a fine job against CMU. Played the entire 50 minutes and scored 23 points.

Having everyone healthy and hopefully that’s the case certainly makes things easier but I’d like to think we can get this one either way. I for one have never been impressed with the EMU style of play/coaching/discipline. Get this one at home-upset Kent on the road Saturday and take that momentum to Cleveland and see what happens.

I have wondered (r.e. "WBB host the Chips ...") where 6-3 Brooke Stonebraker has been. Got a partial answer on the official website in the release about NIU's defeat of EMU.

In a comment about her record-setting double-doubles, A'Jah Davis said, "I feel a lot of credit has to go to my teammate Brooke Stonebraker, who has made me better from day one as a freshman."

To me that a) explains that Stonebraker has been Davis's pairing in practice, b) hopefully Stonebraker got some benefit to improve her play next year, and c) Davis is a really classy person to make a comment like that on the record.
