Buffen was supposed to start instead of Gaines.

Was there an error with the starting lineup? VERY odd for Buffen not to start the last game of the season after he’s started every other game

That makes sense. AK has tinkered with the lineup a bit too much I think. I Feel like he found a good starting 5 three or more different times, and has changed every time… Of course this time was an error, but still

I liked the all senior starting 5. They had played well.

Gaines and lovan not playing well so far after playing great against WKU. 2-7 with 3 fouls and 2 TOs between them.

We are even on the boards. Not shooting well. Not getting to the line enough. But we aren’t turning the ball over much which is good. We just need to start controlling the boards, particularly the offensive glass, get to the free to line, and hit a few more shots… And we should win this one

And we’re letting two guys light us up. 9-14 and 24 pts from 2 players.

Where’s the defensive intensity and cohesion we’ve seen the last several games?

Would hate to lose this one. We need all the momentum and positive vibes we can get with this group going into the conference tournament.

goober announcer said that UAB turned in the wrong starting 5 sheet but couldn't change it and buffen sat.

He literally just pointed at the guy.

But again, our reputation precedes us. If we didn’t have to yell, flex, and borderline time after every made basket… We may not get so many of those calls against us
