On a more serious note..... the way the refs are letting them bang without a whistle does us no favors. Do we get the same refs as this game ? (I'm assuming they rotate and we get a new set....but not sure)

They've pretty much been letting teams play all tourney long imo. Hope Mezie, Tak, and Zo ate their Wheaties.

Looks like the top seed is going down. South Alabam leading S. Miss by 18 with 2:42 to play. Owen White is everywhere.

Don’t know if their fans will travel, but in theory, South Alabama could have a decent home court advantage tomorrow. They are the closest school to Pensacola. Only an hour away.

Foul Samuels every single time down court. My goodness he struggles at the line.

S. Alabama is definitely darkhorse of the tourney and has been on an amazing run. They are peaking at the right time.

I noticed the odds were basically even although it was 8 seed versus 1 seed. Thought that was interesting.

Ha, I remember us talking about that before we played at USA but then that didn't seem to be the strategy if I remember correctly. Hope we break that out tomorrow if we get by Troy. Really gotta watch for Owen White popping threes too.

Just 24 hours ago JMU was looking at having to beat #5, #1, and #2 to win the title.

It is possible they only need to beat #5, #8, and #11 to win the title. Lots of things are breaking in the Dukes’ favor and this has a good feel to it. The beers are tasting even better now

Seeds mean nothing at this point.

The 1 and 3 team lost today to the 8 and 11 seed... No reason for the 4 seed to look past them

Certainly Nobody looks past anyone in the tourney when you have do-or-die games, but it is easier to play teams that have a significantly worse resume over the course of a full season.

Factor in that JMU has losses to USA and Texas St in the only time they played each of them. JMU has an axe to grind and revenge to gain. Supreme motivation.

Then factor in USA being on their 3rd game in 4 days while Texas State would be on their 5th game in 7 days if they make the final.
JMU’s depth will be an Ace card against these teams running on tired legs.
