I agree with the article, but it does bother me when people who went to UAB act like the school doesn't even exist, even after going to school there a minimum of 4-5 years and actually going to game while they were there.

Agreed Answer. I am close to procuring my second degree from our beloved institution. That makes me a stakeholder. Now I’m not going to gatekeep others from becoming Blazers, but when people who attend UAB don’t embrace the school, it’s disappointing. Being a Blazer is a lifestyle. And if you ever reside outside the state, you’ll find there is more respect for UAB externally. Although I can no longer attend every single game, I’ve found it quite sublime to be an out of state Blazer.
