In regards to recruiting and fundraising, it was national exposure and mattered.

All of what you guys say is true..... if they stay at NIU. Will they be targeted after all the recognition to go to somewhere to get paid? I have not heard of much on NIL collectives that cover golf, but I am sure they are present.

In regards to recruiting and fundraising, it was national exposure and mattered.

It was basically a MAC conference minor sport championship, a good showing (for those paying attention to the regional) in the regional, and nothing more. Yes if you follow NCAA men's golf, the coaches are attentive, but not a national exposure. Trust me I loved the journey more than the destination.
