RE: Indiana State
NU completes the 3-game sweep beating ISU 8-7 in 11 innings. They’re now 5-1 on the season.

NU was down 4-1 in the 5th when Mike Sirota hit a 2-run HR (his 3rd of the weekend) and then later in the inning, Danny Crossen ripped a 3-run shot to put NU up 6-4.

In the bottom of the 8th with NU up 6-5, ISU got 2 runs off Griffin Young to take a 7-6 lead. But SS Spencer Smith lead-off the 9th with a game tying HR. Crossen in the 11th tripled home Alex Lane to give NU the 9-7 lead.

D2 transfer Patrick Harrington was awesome in relief of young to get the win, pitching 3 scoreless innings (2H, 5K). In the 11th, he got out of a 1st and 3rd - no out situation, with a strikeout and a 6-4-3 double play to end it.

NU heads back down to Florida next weekend to face South Florida.
