They should check out this video of which it is only one of life in Cuba. If you thought Mexico was a third world country then Cuba is 4th or 5th world country. The place is falling apart. I thought I was poor growing up in a tenement but I was rich compared to these people. Is this the Utopia the Socialists want for us?

Cuba’s been poor for a long time. As have the other authoritarian communist regimes. Why use scare tactics like those evil regimes instead of honestly debating the democratic socialist countries of Western Europe?

There are no democratic socialist countries of Western Europe. There are social democrat countries in Europe, and led by perhaps the biggest liar of them all, Bernie Sanders, democrats try to play sleight of hand with the terminology in order to deceive.

Social democrats are not socialists, democratic or otherwise. The difference is very simple--socialists of all flavors, including USA democrats, are big on massive redistribution of income and wealth. European social democrats aren't. Their tax and welfare systems are specifically and intentionally designed to provide safety nets without massive redistribution.

I could live with social democrats, but prefer to avoid USA democrats and socialists.
