Tribe with a 28-11 run to end the game. The addition of the Zone in the 2nd Half was a huge difference maker.

MBB vs Monmouth
Happy to see D started all the Seniors and congrats to the players for winning.

Clearly D’s explanation last year for not starting the seniors could now be characterized as pale face speaking with fork tongue.

To be fair, Fischer would have started 4 of those 5 starters in any event. The only senior who started who usually doesn’t was Ayesa — so give credit to Fischer for starting him. Personally, I would start Ayesa anyway. He has scored 15 points each of the last two games - and would score more if they gave him more minutes. He also got 3 rebounds.

Anyone know if Ayesa has interest in a Covid year? I would hope Fischer (or another coach) would be smart enough to take him back if he does.

Had a conversation with him a while back that sounded like he was ready to try other things. Nothing definitive, but that's what I took from it.
