Molson is way more disciplined with it and rarely doesn’t without anyone else even touching the ball. Edward ms absolutely kills the offense’s ball movement.

Jmu guards could learn some lessons on how to run the pick and roll from Marshall.

They are putting on a clinic with it

Fast pace and high shooting %.

Marshall gets everything from their two guards on offense.

Will they run out of gas with this pace against a team that will throw fresh legs at them for 40 minutes?

Be cautious with him. The worst thing that can happen in these next two games is a bad injury. Tournament quarterfinal games start in 10 days. Those games really count.

Break out the record books. When is the last time JMU played a game where both teams scored more than 50 in the first half?

Dukes down 52-51 at the half. They are getting the pace that they want and shooting very well, but getting absolutely shredded in the paint where it feels like Marshall has all of their points.
The good news is that Mezie provided nothing and sat with foul trouble yet the Dukes are still in it. He should, at a minimum, provide resistance in the paint in the 2nd half.

The Dukes probably aren’t going to shoot any better than they did in the first half so they need to tighten up the D to get a W. Marshall has played more full court press than JMU. Perhaps that changes in the second half if Byington wants to wear out the Herd.

I can see this rivalry flourish.
