Calumet game
This had better be a big win. Chance for Coach to experiment and develop some depth.

Lopsided win, but we'll take it. This bunch has earned some easy ones, especially with the Zags and Fresno still facing us. We shot well, only had 9 turnovers against 24 assists, and didn't foul. Sometimes blowouts tend to get sloppy, but from the numbers it looks like we held it together pretty well tonight.

RE: Calumet game
I was busy and not able to follow this game, but will have to check out the stats. Yeah, minutes have been hard to come by for most of the bench players this season as Gillion never goes too deep into it.

In a way, it may be more rewarding to get some court time for them at this point in the season, after a whole season of practice. Many of the role players see the most time very early in the season (in exactly these types of games) and may not see the court the entire rest of the year. Late in the season the games are often too tight, or too important for them to get any minutes at all.

RE: Calumet game
Over 70% shooting in the first half. That’s impossible to pull of, regardless of the competition, unless you are really running your offense well, getting assists, sharing the ball, and taking good shots. I’d imagine some were dunks, but still…

The bench isn’t very deep, even in a game where everybody gets court time. About 10 players.

Man, I bet that 30-2 run to close the first half was fun! Those are good times in basketball, when everything is just going right. Smiles all around.
