They remodeled it a few years back, it was really rough before that, and I really wish more was done to make it closer to a legitimate mid major arena. Doesn't appear they did anything to make room for it to grow either. I know SU owns land around campus that could be used for a new facility (admittedly I don't know if they used that land for anything else in the last few years, may not be an option anymore).
I haven't been to a game at Climate Pledge yet, but doesn't appear to be any different than Key Arena was as far as atmosphere goes. They really need to get their own floor first and foremost, absolutely ridiculous the arena uses the floor for their own promotion and colors. Key Arena at least let SU use their own court design.
Haven't been to a game at UT-Arlington, but have been to GCU games and that place is absolutely stunning. Hard to believe it isn't #1. Easily nicest arena I think I have ever been in, NBA or college. This list makes me very interested in seeing UTA in person!
We welcome you. I really enjoy our place and we have come a long way since we played on a stage. I have only seen GCU's arena on tv, but i believe they probably have the nicest arena so you might be disappointed when you see ours.

So......what are the home records at all of these fancy highfalutin facilities? I don't care if my team plays inside of a cracker jack box if it gives us a clear and consistent home court advantage! I pity the fool thinking they're getting an easy "W" inside Wisdom gym!

UTA is all-time 104-51 at CPC.
GCU is a hard place to play for visitors year in and out.
CBU went 12-5 this year.

We went undefeated playing on our indoor tennis courts before moving back into Moody, but that wasn't the point of this thread.

Yeah, point taken...I wouldn"t want to talk about ACU's record inside Wisdom Gym either if I were you.

ACU is 1-1 in Stephenville when both are playing as DI members.

We were downright horrific for a while when we were DII. It was another era. This year has been hard, but hopefully we evolve more like when we transitioned to DI. Tarleton is working through their transition. Maintaining success is always a challenge.

RE: Ranking the WAC basketball facilities
I think we will have to play in Wisdom next year as well, which is disappointing. But our first full year in D1 we SHOULD have the new arena built. I am very excited to see some plans as to what it will look like. I certainly hope it will be done better than the N Endzone "Frankenstein" stands. I am displeased with that renovation.
