What happened to Coach Meade? I haven’t seen anything.

Pirates called up NMSU Baseball alumni Nick Gonzales today, who they took in the 1st round of the 2020 draft. Heckuva college baseball player and couldn't be happier for the Aggie community. https://triblive.com/sports/pirates-call...-triple-a/

I'm wondering the same thing? I don't think he coached a single game during the 2023 season and was placed on administrative leave prior to the 2023 campaign even starting. It's also odd that there is no 2023 Media Guide for Tarleton Baseball on the Athletics Website... you can find all of the previous seasons' media guides but 2023 is unavailable. Did Meade violate any NCAA rules, piss off the Admin or both?

During the press conference announcing the new coach, Reisman (I think) mentioned he opened the job a couple of months ago. So Meade was gone at least in April if not earlier.

How can you say nothing and no one asked any questions as a D1 program?

RE: 2023 WAC baseball
Cincinnati Reds called up GCU Baseball alumni Jake Wong yesterday and made his MLB debut last night against Baltimore, coming out of the pen for 3.0 innings after the Os had already pulled away from the Reds. Wong was a 3rd round pick of the Giants in 2018, before being traded to the Reds organization.

Great week for WAC alumni realizing some lifelong dreams and making it to the Show!

RE: 2023 WAC baseball
So I received a little info into the coaching change at Tarleton.

Coach Meade was fired two weeks before the season started. We had an interim coach for the entire season. The players were given a list of small issues as the reasons for the dismissal. They were given nothing major or specific.
