RE: Three Keys to a Blazer Victory - Middle Tennessee
1. Don't.

2. Do

3. Boneheaded things.

distant 4th: get to the free-throw line, outrebound the opponent, and limit turnovers (the limiting turnovers goes back to 1,2,&3).

It's really that simple for this team. Far too often, they have done too many boneheaded things. We have lost the majority of those games, or we were playing a vastly outmatched opponent where it didn't matter.

The games where we slowed down, took good shots, limited turnovers, rebounded well, and got to the freethrow line, and played hard defense, we have looked like a top 25 team. This team is just to sloppy and fundamentally flawed to get out of its own way. Those things are not based on talent or skill or depth or size. They are literally just things that are based on effort and focus. This team has a precariously small amount of both.
