Ingram/Lehman on Coaches Show
TK had Justin Ingram and Jay Lehman take over the last half of the Show and they had this to say about The Rockets:

*Ingram complemented RJ Dennis for his major improvement this season over last season, especially not getting frustrated when something goes wrong. Jay Lehman added that RayJ has a way of knowing when to take a shot or get the ball to a teammate in a better position to score.

*As the Coach of the Defense along with Jeff Massey, Ingram, said that their main emphasis is to play defense without fouling with the results being Toledo has made more Free Throws then the opponents have attempted in MAC games which gives the Rockets a huge advantage.

*Ingram commented that points allowed per game is not always a true indication of how a team is playing defense. He added that they like to play a faster pace than Kent St or Akron like to do, so there will be more possessions in a game for the opponents to have an opportunity to score.

*In discussing Akron, Ingram talked about making Casteneda work for his shots as he is too good a player to leave open, and that a major emphasis again will be to keep Freeman off the glass where he gets a lot of put back buckets.

Lehman complemented Seth Milner about the culture of the Program after he witnessed the entire team cheering on 2 Basketball Managers who were playing a game of one on one before a recent team practice.

Coaches probably didn't notice how much was in the kitty.

Also, Coach K mentioned earlier in the show that before Ryan Rollins decided to go pro that he had planned to have Rollins, Cochran and Maddox on this year’s team. Since then he lost Cochran to injury and Rollins to the NBA.
