Cougars Set To Hold Bowl Pep Rally
Quote:HOUSTON, Texas - The University of Houston Department of Athletics today announced it will host a pep rally for the Fort Worth Bowl-bound football team on Wednesday, December 14, beginning at 7 pm in the O'Quinn Great Hall in the Athletics/Alumni Center. The rally will precede the weekly Cougar Talk with Art Briles Presented by Perry Homes, which will air from 8-9 pm on ESPN 790.

Food and refreshments will be served to the first 150 people who attend the pep rally. At 7:30 pm UH Athletics Director Dave Maggard will begin the event by introducing Briles, the third-year UH head coach who has guided the Cougars to their second bowl berth in the last three seasons. Then, two Cougar players will address the crowd before "The Spirit of Houston" band gets the fans fired up prior to the hour-long coach's show hosted by the Voice of the Cougars, Tom Franklin.

All fans are encouraged to attend and free UH prizes will be raffled off.
Wednesdays are bad for me because that is when my kids have CCE. I hope a lot of people turn out to support the Coogs!!!
