And if you don't believe in them, Utah State.

3 Utah St 72
2 Boise St 62

FINAL

USU rallies from an 8-point halftime deficit and wins comfortably. Some say the Aggies are now in but there's only one way to render that moot: take out San Diego St for the auto-bid.

I think they're pretty safe given the only teams around the cutline left playing are them and Vandy really. Penn St maybe as well. I don't think they'd lose much losing to San Diego St.

I think the bracket updates tomorrow are big with so many teams done now.

UAB is scary. Houston should take care of business. Vanderbilt is problematic.

Not sure about Clemson vs NCSU. 3-0 against them but on the outside looking in.

If Arizona State doesn't make it, they're going to rue and lament that loss at Texas Southern. It may be the difference between the Tournament and not.

There's homers and there's Bill Walton. Now do you understand why I call them the "Pathetic 12"? I don't make fun of the Big West Conference because no one's telling me UC Riverside belongs in the NCAA Tournament.

RE: It's Bubble Watch time
Assuming the NCAA Selection Committee is watching Championship Week, Utah State almost has to be in now. Of course, the NCAA Selection Committee watching Championship Week is a big assumption. I've seen some of their brackets in past seasons.

The selection committee could be cutting it close tomorrow if Ohio State beats Purdue today. The reveal show starts at 6PM and the B1G championship game will barely be over at best. Ohio State's only chance is to win their CCG, and if the final goes to OT it will probably still be going on when the reveal goes on the air.

Big Ten CCG and selection show are on the same channel.

That's what having different contingency brackets is for.

I didn't know it was that Bill when listening to the Arizona-Arizona State game. I figured it was somebody who had got sloshed in Las Vegas after the first game and we'd hear on the championship game that he was a "little under the weather" and wouldn't be doing the game.

Maybe Kliavkoff is insisting that he be part of the PAC-10+/- contract and the bid price keeps going down.

yup, that too!

Also, they've had a case where the bracket was released before the Big West title game back in 90s, so it's surprisingly not unprecedented.

I like Utah states chances, but I thought A&M was in last year, too. Get that auto bid!

Vandy wins today, their metrics compare very favorably with Rutgers last year.
